Two albums released. A third on the way.  Freedom Badge , released in 2022, is a collection of  songs written over the many years. It encapsulates the many musical influences that has imbued Jason's musical journey. From funky rock, to blues and jazz, with folk and classical layers. His lyrics tell his stories and keen observations, often thought-provoking, at times comical.  Peace River was released a year later in 2023. More folk and intentionally acoustic. Not wanting to be pigeon-holed yet a style closer to his inner-self. The songs  in this album are raw, contemplative and stripped-back, The music is heavy on folk with huge doses of blues, jazz and world music.  Jason is now recording his third album. In November 2024, he was selected by the Troubadour Foundation to receive a sponsorship towards the production of the forthcoming album.

Jason performs in a trio - JPN (formerly Jason Khaw Trio) with Phil Sheppard on viola/ acoustic bass and Nilay Thakkar on tabla. They interpret and improvise on Jason's original songs with an energy and adventure that can only be experienced in-concert.

JPN -  Employing their captivating combination of sounds, the acoustic trio interprets  Jason's original songs from his three albums (3rd one forthcoming)  in intriguing live concerts.  Traditional and modern instrumentation combine to produce folk, blues, jazz and world music wrapped around thoughtful lyrics and interspersed with heartfelt story-telling, Their live gig is  an aural adventure  for the audience.
