Invoke / Momentum is my attempt to create a series of abstract images that would articulate my thoughts and feelings on the state of our relationship with nature. That relationship has been one-sided for too long and it is time we pay attention and observe what nature is telling us.
The creation of Invoke/Momentum spanned 8 years from 2008, when the first image was created, to 2016, the last. The title itself -Invoke/Momentum - is a call to us, our hearts. A fervent call to alert ourselves that we have not been listening. To invoke our sense of humility and to encourage us to learn the lessons being taught but never paid attention to.
